1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Next Afrobeats Star (NAS) registration portal, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the portal.
2. Eligibility
The NAS registration portal is open to individuals who wish to participate in the Next Afrobeats Star competition. Participants must meet the eligibility criteria specified by the show.
2.1 Age Requirement
Participants must be at least 16 years old as of the date of application. Proof of age may be required during the audition process.
2.2 Nationality
NAS is open to individuals who are citizens of Nigeria and Nigerians in the diaspora, Foreign nationals residing in Nigeria are also eligible to participate.
2.3 Musical Talent
To showcase the diversity of Afrobeats talent, participants must possess a genuine passion for music and demonstrate their skills in creating and performing Afrobeats music.
2.4 No Prior Recording Contract
Participants should not be currently signed to any music record label or management company. NAS aims to discover raw and undiscovered talents.
2.5 Solo or Group Participation
NAS welcomes both solo artists and groups to apply. However, groups must have a maximum of five members, and each member must meet individual eligibility criteria
2.6 Previous NAS Participation
Individuals who have previously participated in Next Afrobeats Star or any other Ultima Studios music reality show are ineligible to reapply
2.7 Commitment to the NAS Journey
Participants must be willing and able to commit to the entire duration of the NAS competition, including auditions, mentorship sessions, and live shows. Scheduling conflicts that may hinder full participation should be disclosed during the application process.
2.8 Code of Conduct
All participants must adhere to a code of conduct that promotes professionalism, respect, and positive collaboration. Any breach of this code may result in disqualification.
2.9 Technical Requirements
Participants should have access to the necessary technical equipment (e.g., smartphones, computers) to engage with the NAS registration portal effectively.
3. Registration Process
To register, text NAS to 13013 from an MTN line to receive a unique code. Use this code to access the registration portal atwww.nextafrobeatsstar.com. Download a music track, create your music to it, and re-upload it on the NAS website. 4. Multiple Entries

Participants can text several times to download different instrumentals, providing them with multiple options for submission
5. Content Ownership
Ultima retains ownership of the music created and uploaded. By submitting content, participants grant NAS and Ultima Studios the right to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute the submitted materials for purposes related to the show.
6. Code of Conduct
Participants agree to conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner throughout the registration process. Any form of inappropriate behaviour may result in disqualification.
Technical Issues
In case of technical issues with the portal or if you do not receive a response after texting NAS to 13013, please email nextafrobeatsstar@ultima.ng with a screenshot of your text message for investigation and resolution.
8. Privacy Policy
The collection and use of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy, available on the NAS website.
9. Changes to Terms
NAS reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. It is the participant's responsibility to review these terms periodically.
